YouMinter is an App, which represents NFT world for everyone. The App consists of news feed with likes and compatible with IOS and Android. People will be able to create, mint and share their NFTs on any blockchain. YouMinter has already received 100 000$ grant from NEAR, which shows serious support and attention to the project.

So, we’ll start with the first question about your project.
What is your project about and what tasks does it perform?
Joe Passion [YouMinter]
YouMinter is a social network in easy-to-use iOS and Android app with NFT feed, which aims to unite NFT-artists, their fans, and collectors.
We want everyone to create, mint, and share their content as NFTs on any blockchain with just a few taps and even own a part of the project.

Sounds cool. Let’s move to the second question.
How much time was spent on creating the product and how many people worked? Could you tell us a little about the team?
Joe Passion [YouMinter]
We started about 3 months ago and now have two apps working in developer mode on iOS and Android. At the core of the team are experienced managers and owners of other crypto projects, including CEO, a team of CTO, who are cooperating with powerful developers.
Such kind of projects demands not only blockchain, frontend or backend developers, but iOs and Android professionals.
Now there are more than 10 people, most of them are developers and marketing.

Could you please tell us why was the Near ecosystem chosen for your project, what do you see as its advantages over alternative blockchains and do you plan to support other blockchains in the future?
Joe Passion [YouMinter]
At the moment, NEAR offers a significantly improved experience compared to Ethereum. In essence, NEAR is a reliable, community-driven cloud ecosystem that leverages DLT capabilities to provide stability, visibility, and unrestricted transactions within it.
This ecosystem has already been joined by dozens of blockchain projects in various fields, including gaming, DeFi, DAO, NFT platforms, and more, making it one of the fastest-growing ecosystems in the industry.
Regarding other blockchains, we will see. For now, it is not a high priority task for us.

Let’s talk about your token. What are the functions and role of the $UMINT token?
Joe Passion [YouMinter]
So, of course everybody looks for token utility, but our first goal is active users. As the experience should be as seamless as possible we are not adding UMINT for the first comers and regular users, but it will be used for boosters, sponsored ads and will be required to get more tokens as equity.
If you own tokens as equity and get new tokens monthly, you will get even more when holding them in your wallet or stake.

Moving on to the next question:
What kinds of NFTs be available in your app (images, gifs, videos, music)?
Joe Passion [YouMinter]
We do not want to limit users’ creativity and establish certain frames they are to fit in. We provide all types of NFTs, so artists can choose whatever kind of art they are good at, but of course our main priority is exclusive photos and short videos.

What is the sufficient level of protection and storage of data?
Joe Passion [YouMinter]
The security of users’ data is important to us. YouMinter will take all necessary measures to ensure the reliable processing of users’ data. and no transfer of their personal data will take place to any organization including the security of their data and other personal information.

Could you tell us in more detail what advantages the users of your platform will get in comparison with the OpenSea for example?
Joe Passion [YouMinter]
There are several features and points. YouMinter is a social app, so we are adding everything you need to build your communities, follow bloggers and artists, and communicate with all of them in one single place.
The content itself will be different, we are expecting more photo and video content, of course there will be crypto art and at this point we are competitors to any NFT marketplace.

Hopefully you will be a good competitor to existing social networks such as Instagram.
The roadmap indicates that you are currently conducting a beta test , then there must be a test in the main network before launching the application. Tell me how you can take part in the test?
Joe Passion [YouMinter]
Oh, very good point. Actually, we are not competing with Instagram, we are adding another layer to it additional opportunities for bloggers and their audience, followers.
We are releasing and testing new versions and updates every day. Please stay in touch. We are going to create public testers group later. There will be additional announcement and form to apply to it.

How do you see YouMinter in 2 years? Could you tell us about your plans for the future?
Joe Passion [YouMinter]
Oh, we need one more hour for that!
To make it short, we see it as one of the top open web social applications with the integrations to other similar apps and services, for instance, there should be Share to YouMinter option in all major apps like Instagram or TikTok.
By the way, we are releasing such kind of functionality in YouMinter app almost from the start and this is our connection and easy to use approach of mentioning YouMinter there.
